Problematika výživy a managementu krav stojících na sucho

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of dry cows. It describes changes and requirements in terms of nutrition, health care and breeding organization, as during these 60 days we can influence childbirth, subsequent lactation and then reproduction. The first part describes actual numbers of cattle in the Czech Republic and in the world. As this work focuses on cattle nutrition, it focuses generally on nutrients and their content in each type of feed. The anatomy of the digestive system and the mammary gland is also mentioned. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the actual spawning and the most common metabolic disorders that arise during the pre-natal period and are manifested after delivery
