This work deals with the prevention of diseases and the most common health problems in cattle breeding without milk production. Based on the study of literature, the breeding of cattle without market milk production is introduced in the conditions of the Czech Republic. Represents breeds, numbers of animals, breeding technology. It also describes the most common diseases and health problems occurring in suckler cattle and focuses on the description of preventive interventions and measures. The practical part of the thesis describes the given issue in a particular selected business aimed at cattle breeding without market milk production. The thesis presents the course of the breeding season and realized preventive interventions and measures implemented during the year. The same breed also describes the occurrence of health problems and diseases in farmed animals
