Historický vývoj chovu koní na území České republiky

The bachelor thesis describes a brief history of horse breeding in the Czech Republic from the Age of the Renaissance. It is focused on the first horse breeding, which subsequently influenced breeding up to the present day. Also the preferred horse colours and the important Czech stud farms (either which existed in the past or which still exist), and their major role in horse breeding and selective breeding. Also mentioned are the most important breeds of these stud farms and their successes in breeding. Furthermore this bachelor thesis describes the influence of horse breeding in the Czech Republic during the First and Second World Wars, as well as between the wars, and the period after World War 2.
