This thesis elaborates on work-related injuries in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The first part of the thesis describes the basic terminology, the concept of work-related injury, types of accidents and the causes of injury.Main focus of this work is related on the development and signification of occupational injuries, the dynamics of on-the-job injury ratein the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan.The other part of the work describes actions to prevent risks of work-related injuries and health, safety and environment management systems, the economical aspects of occupational health and safety
