The bachelor thesis was focused on the analysis of factors influencing the length of pregnancy in dairy cattle of Holstein breed. The length of pregnancy was affected by the month of pregnancy, sex of calves, birth of twins and parity. The length of gestation was also affected by birth of live or still-born calves. Results suggest that a number of factors influence the length of pregnancy and it is needed to give them sufficient attention
