Parazitologická problematika u koní na Brněnsku

The bachelor study deal with the most common internal parasites in horses, symptoms of the infections caused by diseases, their treatment, standardly applied drugs and drug resistance. Samples were taken each month between November 2016 and March 2018. In the practical part, it was analysed the manure of horses in three stables with different breeds of horses. The research was carried out using a coprological method using Breza solution for the possible presence of parasites. The most common parasites was from the genus strongylideIn total, 510 samples were collected from 45 horses. The most frequent were parasites from the Strongylidae. The degree of invasion of these parasites was mild in the range of 0-5 eggs. The amount of these parasites was affected by the conditions in the pastures and in the stables, the care of the horse and the seasons. In two of the three stables where the research was carried out, the owners of the horses were dewormed according to the results of the coprological examination. In the third stable, all horses are prevented twice a year, irrespective of the results of the coprological examination
