Ekonomické porovnání produkce travních osiv a obilovin

The title of this bachelor thesis Economic comparison of grass seed and cereals production. Theoretical part of the thesis describes history of this industry, grass cultivation, harvesting processes, post-harvest treatment and current production situation. One chapter is dedicated to non-productive functions of grasslands, which positively influence the state of agroecosystems. Next part is focused on the grass seed industry in the Czech Republic and comparison with the European Union and the USA, including average yield and total production. Last part of literary review summarizes available knowledge about economics of grass seed production in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis briefly describes the farm production economic analysis, which is main content of this part. The result of the analysis is expressed by usage of a contribution to cover fixed costs. In the end of this work SWOT analysis is included, which summarizes clear report about grass seed industry in the Czech Republic
