This work is about nutrition and feeding of broiler chickens. It's focused on nutrition in the embryonic stage, describes basic feed and feed supplements used in large broiler breeds. This work also gives a brief overview of the history and key steps in the development of poultry meat production and consumption in the Czech Republic. In following chapter are also highlighted the main health problems in broiler feeds due to poor nutrition and high feed intake associated with rapid growth, and suggests options to reduce the occurrence of feed restrictions.
