Pastva jako způsob péče o nelesní chráněná území

This bachelor thesis collects information about the usage of grazing of sheep, goats, cattle and horses as an option care of protected areas in our country and abroad. It explains the pastoral characteristics of individual livestock species and compares pastoral systems in terms of efficiency and labor, including their advantages and disadvantages. It describes the positive and negative effects of grazing on the present communities of plants and animals. There is also a comparison of grazing with another way of managing protected areas, specifically with the cutting of grassland. The thesis also evaluates the knowledge gained from its own observation on selected areas of the CHKO Žďárské vrchy, where the grazing was realized at that time for the purpose of protecting the endangered species of plants and animals occurring in the given locality
