This bachelor thesis is based on the connection between two parts-horse riding and the biomechanics. It specifically describes work on the bit, because with reins the rider can influence the movement of the whole horse's body. Introduction is focused on the basics of biomechanics, on the anatomy and also on the horse's gaits. In individuals chapters it describes how to use the reins and how the anatomical theory is related to riding. The last part defines the specific problems, which the rider causes with the reins
