Možnosti použití textilií v zahradní a krajinářské architektuře

The point of this bachelor’s thesis with topic Use of Textile in Garden and Landscape Architecture is to introduce textile material in the given field. Literary research summarizes basic classification of textiles. It introduces us to the most commonly used materials and lists their basic properties and characterics. The brief history of textile is also mentioned with focus on its usage in exteriors together with chosen examples of the contemporary designs. The text also lists new materials currently available. The design itself contains multiple use cases of textile usage in public spaces. The chosen area is located in city district Staré Brno close to Mendlovo Square. The idea of the design is to fully connect the area with its neighbourhoods in regard to the city’s spirit
