Implementace environmentálního manažerského systému v podniku

This diploma thesis elaborates a proposal of an environmental management system implementation according to the ČSN EN ISO 14001:2016 standard in a selected company in Brno. Based on own activities in the company and in-depth interviews with the employees, the current situation and field of business of the company and its experience with the implementation of certifications were described. Furthermore, the company’s approach to environmental issues, including the definition of environmental aspects of the company, was identified. According to the individual chapters of the international standard, the thesis suggests steps to obtain the ISO certification. Furthermore, the thesis presents possible benefits and costs related to EMS implementation. The results of the interviews show whether the company has the necessary capacity to implement the standard and whether the certification is relevant for the company. Regardless of the suitability of the EMS for the company, appropriate measures to the environmental performance improvement are designed
