The work is dedicated to the phenomenology of the landscape. The work is based on the review of the literature and it is trying to explain the method and apply it in practice on a particular landscape. The aim is to submit the model area of Pozořice Church by phenomenological investigation and to uncover individual layers and phenomena. The individual layers are then combined into a single comprehensive framework, so it would describe the genius loci in the area. In the design part there is the emphasis to the genius loci that should be designed in the harmony with previous analyzes and it should reveal it's content, should be developed and shaped by the unique spirit-site
