Obnova pamiaky krajinárskej architektúry

This Bachelor´s thesis is concerned with the issue of restoration of a landscape park in Voderady, Slovakia. The goal of the thesis is an elaboration of a study of restoration of the object and a comprehensive concept of an optimal process of reconstruction, with an emphasis on conservation of the historic nature of the grounds. After the introductory informational chapters, we introduce an analysis and interpretation of the history and artistic aspect of said object. Its essential task is the assessment of current status using analyses of graphic and textual nature, while trying to be objective. It is also points out the unsatisfactory state of the first park in today´s Slovakia created according to the principles of the English landscaping school, whose author is an important garden architect Bernhard Petri. An output of the thesis is an architectural and landscaping solution, whose resulting form is adjusted according to today´s standards
