The first chapter briefly informs about automotive fuels and explains the used terms in this work. The next chapter describes the types of fuel additives and their use. The third chapter deals with the deposits in the internal combustion engines and their reduction using detergent additives. The fourth chapter focuses on the types of wear and places where arise.
