This thesis deals with a prototype of the rear suspension rockers of the racing monopost Dragon 10th generation, which is being developed at the Brno University of Technology within the international educational project Formula Student. Based on the research, the technology method of casting has been chosen for this purpose. The input for the prototype of the rocker arms is based on the impacting forces and suspension points given by kinematics of the vehicle. Based on these facts, topology optimization of the shapes has been conducted and the components have been modelled accordingly.
