CNC Applications in Forming Processes

This thesis presents the study on CNC control and its usage in forming processes. It analyses the main elements which are essential for functionality of computed numerically controlled processes. It also comprises the basics of CNC programming and related software programmes. Individual technologies of forming are covered in terms of fundamental principles. Subsequently the technologies are described in relation to the CNC control – in theory and also the specific examples of machines and software programmes are given. The thesis considers advantages and disadvantages of each technology and its suitability for use in given application
