Roof Structure of Bus Station in Letohrad

This bachelor's thesis scrutinizes a proposal and considerations of steel bus shelter located at the Letohrad’s main bus station. The dimensions of the plan drawing are 6,4 m by 66 m while the height is approximately 4,5 m. The structure is to roof an island platform. The load-carying structure consists of a main frame of a Y shape. Roofing is supported by purlin roof. Structure’s spatial rigidity is addressed by implementing longitudinal and sway bracing. Detailed structural design is included in the thesis as well as engineering report and design drawings
