This bachelor work deals with monitoring the life cycle of a lithium-ion battery. The theoretical part describes the history and development of electrochemical cells. Lithium-ion batteries are a separate chapter. There are described their principles, the most used materials for the production of negative and positive electrodes, loading characteristics and the influence of temperature. In the practical part, the influence of temperature on changes of internal impedance, cell capacity and efficiency of energy supply during the battery life cycle is monitored
