HPTLC method which is simple, particular and robust has been developed for the simultaneous estimation of Catechin and Curcumin from an Ayurvedic formulation. The method was validated using parameters such as linearity, specificity, and precision, limit of quantification (LOQ), limit of detection (LOD), accuracy and robustness as per ICH guidelines. The present work deals with development of HPTLC method for simultaneous estimation of catechin and curcumin in marketed Ayurvedic formulations.
