Putting up pillars in a new house

Reinforced concrete has been widely used in reconstruction of houses because of their perceived higher chances for survival in the event of an earthquake, as demonstrated during the 2015 earthquake. This perception has led to the introduction of these new building materials and sometimes new building designs when replacing the sloped roofs with flat roofs.
