Introduction: The objective of this research is to identify the educational, communicative and learning advantages in implementing an innovative model of training for leveling students at the University of Guayaquil, that is, the creation and development of a personal learning environment (PLE) as a classroom project. Method: For this case study it was considered a mixed approach conducted in four stages: (a) Socialization of PLE concept, (b) Development of PLE by students and peer feedback in a blog created for this purpose, (c) Evaluation of PLE developed by students and (d) Survey to measure the level of satisfaction and motivation reached by students.
