Stimulus-stimulus pairing procedures/SSPP occur in natural verbal interaction between adults and babies. The goal of this experiment was to verify listener behavior learning by a 17-months-old infant with a combined procedure of matching-to-sample/MTS and SSPP. The participant learned twelve name-photo relations in MTS tasks, after previous exposition to the SSPP (photo-name). Experimental stimuli were twelve photos of animals and twelve two-syllable pseudo-names which were divided in four sets.
