CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA LINGUÍSTICA SISTÊMICO FUNCIONAL NA APRECIAÇÃO DE TEXTOS: UMA ANÁLISE MULTIFUNCIONAL DE UM TEXTO PUBLICITÁRIO.

This essay attempts to reflect about the contribution of Systemic Function Linguistic to analyze texts, as well as the importance of a textual theory of language (Halliday, 2004), a theory that looks at the language being uses in different contexts and different genres. This paper notices the several semiotic modes employed in advertisements adding specific meanings. Thus, we also take into account the considerations of The Grammar of Visual Design offered by Kress and van Leeween (2006) given the interrelation with the theory offered by HallidayEste trabalho visa a uma reflexão acerca das contribuições da Lingüística Sistêmico Funcional na apreciação de textos e a importância de uma teoria textual da linguagem (Halliday,2004) que o considera o uso da linguagem em diferentes contextos e gêneros. O trabalho observa os diversos modos semióticos empregados na confecção dos textos publicitários conferindo-lhes significados específicos. Neste viés, recorre às considerações da Gramática do Design Visual de proposta Kress e van Leeween (2006) dada sua interrelação com a teoria proposta por Halliday
