The present study aimed to assess the quality of infrastructure in family health units and of the equipment used in primary care actions. Quantitative, cross-sectional analytical study conducted in 2014 in a large city of Minas Gerais, with assessment of the subdimension Self-assessment for Access and Quality Improvement in Primary Care of 75 teams. The subdimension was considered unsatisfactory by 48% of the units.
