This study aimed to identify the knowledge of medium-level nursing personnel on wounds treatment, beforeand after in-service education activities. It was developed in a large hospital in November 2008, and 39 professionals whoattended the meetings of in-service education joined the study. The study was conducted in three stages: application ofa questionnaire; in-service education, and reapplication of the questionnaire.
