Spergularia rubra has a very wide spread in the world. Infusion of S. rubra is used for diuretic purposes. Although widely used, the antioxidant activity of this species has not been evaluated and its chemical composition is not known [1]. In this study, antioxidant activity (DPPH %), total phenolic content (Folin Ciocalteau method) and phenolic compounds profile (LC-MS/MS) of methanolic extract of Spergularia rubra plant that collected from five different localities in Siirt were analyzed.
