Análisis de inestabilidad del talud tramo NIC-7 (km 177-178) Santo Tomás, departamento de Chontales

The research object of the present article is focused on the analysis of instability in the hillside in a section of the road NIC-7, which connects the towns of Juigalpa and Santo Tomás in the department of Chontales The methodology used was based on the determination of parameters which go due to the formation of slidings, among them: the lithology, meteorization, slope angle, fracturing of rocky bodies and precipitation as a detonating factor, illustrating through models on 2D through software a possible landslide, in order to prove the conditions of the slope and the security factor designating the state of the hillside under research. The results obtained in the laboratory tests, showed that the materials in this case soil and rock have low mechanical resistance parameters such as: friction angle, cohesion and weight, when carrying out the modeling in the software, low safety factors are presented due to the conditions of the materials, degree of slope, added to this the weight of structures and vehicular traffic. In conclusion, the state of the slope on the section of the Nic-7 road (km 177-178) is unstable and unsafe.El objeto de investigación del presente artículo se enfocó en el análisis de inestabilidad de ladera en un tramo de la carretera NIC-7 que conecta los municipios de Juigalpa-Santo Tomás departamento de Chontales. La metodología empleada se basó en determinar parámetros que conducen a la formación de deslizamientos, entre ellos: la litología, meteorización, ángulo de pendiente, fracturamiento de cuerpos rocosos y la precipitación como factor detonante, ilustrando mediante modelos en 2D realizado en software un posible deslizamiento, para evaluar las condiciones del talud y el factor de seguridad, designando así el estado de la ladera objeto de investigación. Los resultados obtenidos en las pruebas de laboratorio, mostraron que los materiales en este caso suelo y roca presentan bajos parámetros de resistencia mecánica como son: ángulo de fricción, cohesión y peso, al realizar la modelación en el software se presentan factores de seguridad bajos producto las condiciones de los materiales, grado de pendiente, sumado a ello el peso de estructuras y tráfico vehicular. Dejando como conclusión que el estado de la ladera en el tramo de la carretera Nic-7 (km 177-178) es inestable e inseguro
