When journalist Jolyon Naegele told the Czechs in his Voice of America report in 1989 that the CzCP leader Gustáv Husák was going to be forced to resign, the ruling Czech communists became absolutely livid and tried to take aggressive steps against him. It was not possible. And did you know that there was a conflict between the Czech and the Slovak secret police from 1988 in Czechoslovakia? Jan Čulík continues his conversation with one of the most influential journalists of the last decade of the communist era, who speaks perfect Czech and also a number of other Slavonic languages. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 5th August 2020
