Agricultural Land Suitability Series, Report 3.

This report details the land units at a mapping scale of 1:50 000 and describes the dominant landform, soils and vegetation of the the Warumungu (NT Por 502) and Kurnturlpara (NT Por 4802) Aboriginal Land Trust areas, Northern Territory. The study area covers 172km2 and is located approximately 150km east of Tennant Creek via the Barkly Highway. The primary purpose of the investigation was to map, describe and evaluate soil landscapes to inform future irrigation development in an area with identified potential for groundwater extraction.
