Children from the Methodist Overseas Mission riding on the back of a truck. After the Second World War some of the children were returned to Croker Island in 1946. Croker Island Mission was closed in 1966, with many of the children being sent to Lentara Children's Home in Magill, South Australia or into foster care and adoption around Australia.Gayton, Jim.Date:1954
