Date:1932Born in the Phillipines, Cynthia Molina graduated from the University of East Manila with a degree in Business Administration. Cynthia came to Darwin with her husband Lino in 1972 and together they have raised six children. One of her most notable achievements is co-founding the Asian-Australian Association in Darwin. She has also worked with the YWCA and the National Council of Women. She was awarded the Order of Australia medal in 1983 for her dedication to the community, being the first Asian women and the first Filipino in the Northern Territory (NT) to be given such an award.
