Northern Territory congenital malformations 1 July 1985-31 December 1986 : an analysis by ethnicity and sex.

The Northern Territory Department of Health introduced a Perinatal Statistics data collection system on a six-months trial basis on 1 Jul 85. Congenital malformations noted at or near birth were also recorded. Apart from a few minor problems, the system was successful, and was officially introduced throughout the NT on 1 Jan 86.
