The Public Patients' Hospital Charter is a part of the Northern Territory and Commonwealth Governments' program to improve the delivery of hospital services to the public. The Charter is produced jointly by the Northern Territory and Commonwealth to provide people with information about public hospital services. Providing better information for health care consumers is a major commitment in the Commonwealth/Northern Territory Medicare Agreement.
