'Don Hotel - one of the few remaining buildings in Cavenagh Street. Others destroyed by fire. This was area were Chinese had shops built on either side of street'. This building shows damage and banana palms and weeds can be seen on the footpaths in front and on the vacant lots opposite. Telegraph poles run down Cavenagh Street.
