MALFORMACIONES CONGÉNITAS DEL TRACTO DIGESTIVO: REPORTE DE CASO DE MALROTACIÓN INTESTINAL, BANDAS DE LADD Y ATRESIA ILEAL EN EL NEONATO

Introduction: Congenital malformations of the digestive tract specified a varied spectrum of pathologies, including: the  appearance of atresias or stenosis of the digestive tract, duplications of the intestinal tract, poor positioning of structures or anatomical deformities that can cause alterations, both in the neonatal period as throughout childhood. Most digestive malformations are unique, although many of them associate alterations in other organs or systems, or syndromes or genetic alterations, which condition the prognosis of the disease of the child with malformation. Case: This is a patient born with a term with a diagnosis of intestinal obstruction, intestinal malrotation, congenital ladd bands, terminal ileus atresia. Discussion: The morbidity and mortality of cases of intestinal obstruction reported in the current series is generally extremely low and is mainly determined by the coexistence of other major congenital abnormalities (eg, cardiac), delays in diagnosis and treatment, or conditions coexisting medical. Newer treatments and future developments may reduce residual mortality in cases such as ultrashort bowel syndrome. Conclusions: diagnostic images are very useful for approximation and timely management, and both endoscopic and open surgical resection are the mainstay of treatment.Introducción: Las malformaciones congénitas del tracto digestivo constituyen un espectro variado de patologías, que incluyen: la aparición de atresias o estenosis del tubo digestivo, duplicaciones del tracto intestinal, mal posicionamiento de estructuras o deformidades anatómicas que pueden provocar alteraciones, tanto en el periodo neonatal como a lo largo de la infancia. La mayoría de las malformaciones digestivas se presentan únicas, aunque muchas de ellas asocian alteraciones en otros órganos o sistemas, o bien síndromes o alteraciones genéticas, que condicionan el pronóstico de la enfermedad del niño con malformación. Caso: Se trata de una paciente nacida a termino con diagnóstico de obstrucción intestinal, malrotación intestinal, bandas congénitas de ladd, atresia íleo terminal. Discusión: La morbilidad y mortalidad de los casos de obstrucción intestinal reportados en las series actuales generalmente es extremadamente baja y está determinada principalmente por la coexistencia de otras anomalías congénitas importantes (p. ej., cardíacas), retrasos en el diagnóstico y tratamiento o condiciones médicas coexistentes. Los tratamientos más nuevos y los desarrollos futuros pueden reducir la mortalidad residual en casos como el síndrome de intestino ultracorto.    Conclusiones: las imágenes diagnósticas son de gran utilidad para su aproximación y manejo oportuno y la resección quirúrgica tanto endoscópica como abierta son el pilar fundamental en el tratamiento
