The objective of this article is to assess the effect of the agricultural sector on the economic growth in Ivory Coast.The data used are those of the World Bank and cover the period from 1985 to 2015. The analysis of the data required the use of the AutoRegressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). It emerges from this study that there is a positive and significant relationship between manufacturing agriculture and economic growth in the short and long term. On the other hand, the food-crop production has a negative effect on GDP, even if it is significant.
