This article aims to analyze the relationships between educational policies and work formation in secondary schools in Neuquén (Argentina), connecting regulations and didactic-pedagogical devices that are implemented in educational institutions. In order to do this, we consider policies as a dispute field, in its definition, as well as in its implementation in schools. To achieve our goal, we review regulations focalized in work formation and analyze, using qualitative methodologies, their implementation in secondary schools.
