A letter from Springfield College to John C. Lewis dated May 15, 1918. The exact author is not known. The letter thanks Lewis for a previous letter that he sent the College. They also tell him that his diploma has been paid for and that they are sorry that he, like many other alumnae are not going to be at the Commencement ceremony.John C Lewis graduated from Springfield College in 1918. After graduating he left the college to enlist in the Signal Corps. He would serve for two years until the end of WWI and then he would start working for the Y.M.C.A. of Santa Barbara California, where he would work until 1949. He died in 1970
