Letter from John C. Lewis to Miss Richardson (May 7, 1918)

A three page letter from John C. Lewis to Miss Richardson dated May 7, 1918. In the letter Lewis tells Richardson that they spelled his name correctly and that he can't send them money yet but that he will send it soon. He also tells her that he will send Doggett the Photo that he asked for soon. The rest of the letter is him describing what he is doing at the training camp and what it is like there.John C Lewis graduated from Springfield College in 1918. After graduating he left the college to enlist in the Signal Corps. He would serve for two years until the end of WWI and then he would start working for the Y.M.C.A. of Santa Barbara California, where he would work until 1949. He died in 1970
