Abstract

A nine-page letter from John C. Lewis to Laurence L. Doggett dated May 12, 1918. In the letter Lewis is telling Doggett what he has been doing while he is training for the Signal Crops. He also informs him of what has been going on at the training camp.John C. Lewis graduated from Springfield College in 1918. After graduating he left the college to enlist in the Signal Corps. He would serve for two years until the end of WWI and then he would start working for the Y.M.C.A. of Santa Barbara California, where he would work until 1949. He died in 1970
