BENTUK DAN FUNGSI TINDAK TUTUR EKSPRESIF DALAM FILM DOKUMENTER THE MAHUZES KARYA WATCHDOC IMAGE

Abstract This study was aimed to describe the form and function of expressive speech acts in the documentary film THE MAHUZEs by Watchdoc Image by using expressive speech act theory. The object of this research is the expressive form of speech contained in the film THE MAHUZEs and discussed based on the type and function based on the context of the speech. The method approach in this research used descriptive qualitative with consider and note technique. The results showed that there were thereeten (13) data on expressive speech acts in the documentary film THE MAHUZEs by Watchdoc Images were divided into one (1) expressive speech act apologies, three (3) expressive speech acts were requested to thank you, two (2) data on expressive speech acts are welcomed, four (4) data on speech acts of settlement decisions, two (2) data on expressive speech acts shows sympathy, and one (1) data on expressive speech acts is requested for gratitude. The speech act function contained in this documentary film is a function that is adapted to the context of the ongoing speech that is a function to express forgiveness for intentional or unintentional mistakes, a function to express gratitude for one's good deeds and function as a statement of disappointment over something. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif dalam film dokumenter THE MAHUZEs karya Watchdoc Image dengan menggunakan teori tindak tutur ekspresif. Objek penelitian ini adalah bentuk tuturan ekspresif yang terdapat di dalam film THE MAHUZEs dan diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenis dan fungsinya berdasarkan konteks tuturan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tigabelas (13) data mengenai tindak tutur ekspresif di dalam film dokumenter THE MAHUZEs karya Watchdoc Image yang terbagi menjadi satu (1) data tindak tutur ekspresif memberi maaf,tiga (3) data tindak tutur ekspresif mengucapkan terima kasih, dua (2) data tindak tutur ekspresif mengeluh, empat (4) data tindak tutur mengekspresikan kemarahan, dua (2) data tindak tutur ekspresif menunjukkan simpati, dan satu (1) data tindak tutur ekspresif mengucapkan syukur. Adapun fungsi tindak tutur yang terdapat pada film documenter ini adalah fungsi yang disesuaikan dengan konteks tuturan yang sedang berlangsung yaitu fungsi untuk menyatakan pemberian maaf atas kesalahan yang disengaja atau yang tidak disengaja, fungsi untuk menyatakan terima kasih atas perbuatan baik seseorang dan fungsi sebagai pernyataan kecewa atas sesuatu.
