This study examined the relationship between nonviolent orientations, belief systems functioning, value priorities, and social dominance orientation. The investigation sought to add to the sparse theoretical and empirical literature on the psychological study of nonviolence by investigating psychological dynamics that underlie nonviolent dispositions.
