This humanistic research explores the central Christian doctrine of the Trinity as a guide for reviewing the apostolate and reshaping the mission of the Church and religious education in the Catholic Diocese of Awka in Nigeria. The study contends: the Christian belief in the Trinity, as a relational and practical doctrine, can serve as a guide for reshaping the pastoral life, relationships, leadership and mission of the Church in the Awka Diocese. This research study proposes the zone, the most basic Christian community in the Awka Diocese, as an adequate context for the implementation of the practical relevance of the doctrine of the Trinity.
