Conciliar fellowship became a key concept in the World Council of Churches\u27 discussion on church unity during the last two decades. It meant an essential feature of church\u27s nature, a pattern of her common life and the representative gathering of the one church. I tried to develop it as a model of church unity. As a background of this study, I outlined the ecumenical debate of the concept in its major phases and aspects.
