Peran Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Terhadap Gagasan Amandemen UUD RI TAHUN 1945

The existence of the Regional Representative Council (RRC) is to accommodate the interests of the region as well as checks and balances in the constitutional system of the Republic of Indonesia. RRC has a function in the field of legislation, supervision, giving consideration (consultation) to the Parliament and its members. RRC does not have significant functionality when compared to the House of Representatives, the allegations relating to the limited authority of the RRC in the constitutional system of the Republic of Indonesia. It can be seen from the wording of Article 22 D of the 1945 Constitution and Article 223 of Law No. 27 of 2009 about the position of the People’s Consultative Assembly, the House of Representatives, the Regional Representative Council and the Regional Representatives Council. As part of members of the MPR are authorized to change and set the RRC Repbulic of Indonesia Constitution have legitimacy in their role to mengggas RI constitutional amendment in 1945 that to 5.
