A double layer fractal-based frequency selective surface (FSS) built on FR4 substrate exhibiting selectively: One notch, two notches and broadband characteristics is reported. The operation is demonstrated by computer simulation with a commercial solver. The FSS behavior is independent from angle incidence up to 60° for both TE and TM cases.
