Orthopedic and traumatological surgery regroups, interventions aimed at the upper and lower limbs and the spine and, it is likely that no other subspecialty of anesthesia requires familiarity with a greater variety of anesthetic techniques. A prospective descriptive study was carried out at the Celia Sánchez Manduley Provincial Hospital during the period July-December 2019, whose study sample consisted of 104 patients with the aim of describing the results of peridural anesthesia in orthopedic surgery of lower limbs in patients operated on electively.
