The current study aimed at identifying the extent to which social studies teachers practice effective teaching skills for intermediate and high school in Dammam city schools in Saudi Arabia. The researcher has applied the Descriptive Approach because it suits the objectives of the current study. In order to achieve the objectives of the current study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (42) paragraphs, where their validity and reliability were verified, and it was randomly distributed to the study sample consisting of (104) male and female teachers.
