Our research question asks if countries where women have fewer rights affect how and how often they vote? We argue that women who have fewer rights are less likely to vote due to the institutional barriers faced by the women within the countries. By looking at the Women, Peace, and Security index, we will be able to view 167 countries and see how they rank when it comes to inclusion, justice, and security. By viewing their rank, we can see how women are representing their government, how women partake in politics, and if they even partake in politics. We will be able to look at those who rank higher and lower and compare them to see if women have the same rights and if there is a correlation between them. There are numerous factors to be co...
